A diverse geography offers you a multitude of experiences all through the year. Between the subtropical forests and icy Antarctica, lies a languid coast where you can lay on sunny beaches and observe a wide variety of protected native wildlife in the Atlantic Patagonian area. From the aborigines of the north, the colonial Córdoba and northwest, the vineyards flanked by Cuyo’s mountains, the gauchos and their ranches in the plains of Pampa, to the historic and cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, Argentina’s been waiting for you all along.
This downtown neighborhood of Buenos Aires owes its great historical and architectural interest, principally to the Recoleta Cemetery. Stroll through the fanciest streets of Recoleta, the cultural centre of the city, gawking at French architectural gems, sprawling homes and the finest high-end restaurants and shops like Hermes. You’ll soon discover why Buenos Aires was nicknamed the Paris of South America.

Best time to visit
Spring (September to November) and fall (March to May) are the best seasons to visit, when most festivals and sporting events take place. The cold but not freezing winter is a fine time to visit the theaters, museums and cafés. Many tourists come during the late spring and summer (November to March), but January and February are unpleasantly hot and humid.
