UAE comprises the emirates of Abu Dhabi – the largest, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah. The city of Abu Dhabi is the capital. The UAE has a sub-tropical climate with warm temperatures, infrequent rainfall and blue skies most of the year. Despite its reputation as a land of twenty-first-century cities and forbidding desert, the UAE has some very diverse habitats. The landscape is dominated by desert, extensive salt flats and white sandy shorelines .
RAS AL KHAIMAH
It is one of the seven emirates forming the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Its name means “Top of the Tent”. The emirate is in the northern part of the UAE, bordering Oman’s exclave of Musandam. It covers an area of 1,684 square km. The capital city and home of most residents is also called Ras Al Khaimah
A 45-minute drive from Dubai International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the vibrant Ras Al Khaimah city centre.

Late October till mid April is the best time to go to Ras Al-Khaimah. During this time, the state enjoys an excellent, mild temperature with the average high of 26°C .
